Size Guide

The short version

Order the same size you wear in a normal t-shirt.

It is meant to feel snug going on. That resistance is the compression doing its job — it is not a sign you need the next size up. If you size up to make it comfortable to pull on, you lose most of the shaping.

If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

Size chart

Measure your chest at the fullest point, and your waist at your natural waistline, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight.

Size Chest Waist Usual t-shirt size
S 34–36" 28–30" Small
M 37–39" 31–33" Medium
L 40–42" 34–36" Large
XL 43–46" 37–40" X-Large
2XL 47–50" 41–44" XX-Large

If your chest and waist land in different rows

Go with the larger of the two. The fabric has four-way stretch and will take up the slack at the smaller measurement. Sizing to the smaller number is the most common way people end up with something they do not want to put on twice.

How it should feel when it is on

  • Firm across the stomach and waist. You should notice it holding.
  • Easy to breathe. If a full breath is a struggle, it is too small.
  • Flat at the shoulders and neckline. No digging, no visible ridge under a shirt.
  • Long enough to tuck. The hem should sit below your waistband and stay there when you sit down.

Getting it on the first time

Step into it and pull it up, rather than putting it on over your head. It goes on far more easily that way, and it is how most people wear it after the first couple of days.
